ASPIRE will be on THURSDAY Evenings + Saturday Morning ONLY - There are no make-up class days.
Session 4 Dates: 2/23, 2/25, 3/9, 3/16, 3/23
Geared to Skaters who are in Basic Skills 4, or higher!

The ASPIRE Program is set-up to create a team environment in skaters as well as enhance their techniques and focus on the skaters as a whole person not only an athlete. It will also be an opportunity for skaters to gain exposure to other styles/specialities of skating in our wide world of skating options! There will also be parent meetings to help guide you through your first years as a skating parent, navigating how to buy skates, enter competitions, skater nutrition, what different skills look like and so much more!


The ASPIRE Class includes 30 minutes of ON-ICE instruction with 
Troy Skating Club Coach(es), up to 15 minutes practice time &  10-20 minutes of off-ice instruction/warm-up or discussion!* (*Actual division of time will depend on number of skaters in attendance and skills being covered during the session. We aim to hold ASPIRE classes on the following; Session 4 class will primarily be held on half ice Thursday evening  + 1 Saturday Morning, Summer Session will be Thursday ONLY, Sessions 1-3 will be Primarily Saturday Mornings. Number of Class days offered and on which day of the week are subject to change before each session registration depending on the Hobart master schedule)*

Troy Skating Club's ASPIRE Class will be featuring different skating styles (Intro to Ice Dance, Intro to Artistry in Motion, Moves in the Field patterns, etc.) and elements (spins, jumps, edges, warm-ups, practice patterns, etc.) as well as a parent informational component. There will also be free T-shirts and other USFS ASPIRE branded items!

The ASPIRE Mission: The U.S. Figure Skating Aspire Program provides a solid foundation in figure skating through the development of athleticism and artistry, empowering skaters to be successful on and off the ice.
