We have WONDERFUL news! Hobart WILL be putting down ice for the summer. Please read this post fully as there is a lot of information covered. With guidelines that have been worked out between Hobart Arena & the Miami County Health Department, starting Monday, June 15th Hobart Arena is planning to start to having ice.  45th Annual Kathy Slack Troy Summer Competition  After careful consideration of the “Stay Safe Ohio” order, guidelines, restrictions, and our concern for the health and safety of skaters, officials, volunteers, our members, and the employees of Hobart Arena, the Troy Skating Club has made the very difficult and sad decision to cancel the 45th Annual Kathy Slack Troy Summer Competition. We ask everyone to stay safe and please plan on joining us next year, July 8-11, 2021.  

Dates for our summer 2020 group lessons are currently TBA. The Troy Skating Club Board of Directors and Skating Director have been closely following the CDC, Miami County Public Health Department, as well as US Figure Skating and their recommendations regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19).  As it becomes available we will update with more information on Hobart Arena's reopening and restarting our programs. We hope to be seeing you as soon as we can do so safely. Thank you for your continued patience while we navigate our new normal.
